Kanye West Presents: MTV Army Special

As Barack is on his way to winning the election and trying to bring our troops back home. MTV and Mr. West have decided to have a little treat for them when they return.

In an upcoming MTV News special called "Choose or Lose" & "Kanye West Present: Homecoming," Chi-Town's finest and MTV's own Sway will be giving returning veterans the surprise of their lives as they [Kanye and Sway] drop in unexpectedly at the homes of some Iraq war veterans and see firsthand the difficult and painful challenges the vets face after returning home.

"There are hundreds of veterans out there who are falling through the cracks. They make the ultimate sacrifices for us by laying down their lives, but it seems like a lot of them just get forgotten about," Said Kanye. "I know my music inspires and helps a lot of people, but you can always do more. I teamed up with MTV and took the opportunity to share the spotlight with these veterans and hear their stories. I went to their homes to listen and get their firsthand experiences. I wanted to hear their stories."

The one-hour special airs July 28 at 10 p.m. ET.

Sway and West will also be giving each veteran a life-changing gift, from paying off their debts to taking care of their rent or tuition.

I like it when people give back.

Tech-Knowledge-G: Hear Me Now?...Good

Dr. Dre and Monster, an audio/video accessories company, have joined forces to make the ultimate headphones.

The Beats by Dr. Dre are high definition powered isolation headphones that will make your ears see sounds. Buying the headphones wont make you start to be a super producer like the good Doctor but you will surely hear all your mistakes.

"Artists and producers work hard in the studio perfecting their sound, but people can't really hear it with normal headphones. Most headphones can't handle the bass, the detail, the dynamics. Bottom line: the music doesn't move you. With Beats, people are going to hear what the artists hear and listen to the music the way they should - the way I do."

The Beats be available July 25th at Apple stores, online stores, Best Buy, and the official website, beatsbydre.com.

Price set for the head knockers are $349.95.

Rockin' Or Floppin'

Gorilla Zoe has come back for another round in this rap game with his new single "Lost." It's pretty nice, but you have to wonder...after T.I.'s singing single, and Kanye, Wanye, etc. singing on their singles. What rappers are actually rapping anymore??? Has hip-hop died and come back to life as hip-pop??
