Bill Gates, who was the full-time executive at Microsoft, said his final goodbyes to the company which he co-founded with childhood friend Paul Allen in 1975.
Gates will now focus on his philanthropic organization, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the world's largest charity, funded in part by his vast fortune.
Gates, who will become a non-executive chairman and work part-time, joined Chief Executive Steve Ballmer on stage to deliver a short speech and field questions from employees.
"There won't be a day in my life that I'm not thinking about Microsoft and the great things that it's doing and wanting to help," said the teary eyed Gates as the group of employees rose to give him a standing ovation.

True Religion
"God will take you through hell, just to get you to heaven" - T.I.
Profound words from the King of the South....
Religion is a controversial subject, and you may agree or disagree with what I have to say, but my question for you today is if God loves us so much, why does he take us through hell?
Honestly, I can't answer that question because I'm not God, but I can make an attempt.
Christianity is faith based. The definition of faith is: confidence or trust in a person or thing.
In T.I.'s song "No Matter What", he had it right when he said, "if your hearts filled with faith then you can't fear, wonder how I face years and I'm still chillin? Easy, let go and let God deal with it"
Life is a constant struggle. We encounter many bumps throughout our walk of life and wonder how this/that happened to me. You ask yourself questions like "Why me? I'm a good person, I go to church, I listen to my parents, etc." Yet, bad situations/temptations keep presenting themselves to us. Death, greed, sex, lies, drugs, music, friends, etc.
God/whoever you believe in (religions have similarities), is testing your faith. He wants to make sure you're grounded and not calling yourself a "Christian" by title. That's fake (lukewarm). You can't be on 2 sides (good/bad).
This post in a nutshell is this:
Stand firm in what you believe in
If you believe in God, trust that whatever problems you are going through, that they are happening for a reason
Nobody is perfect, we are sinful by nature.
And no matter what you're going through, what anybody does to you, or what anybody says to you, stay focused on whatever goals you are trying to accomplish.

Nelson Mandela's 90th Birthday Celebration
Stars from all over the world flew into London to celebrate Nelson Mandela's 90th birthday party. Amy Winehouse preformed for the first time since diagnosed with emphazima. Other stars also included Oprah, Leona Lewis, Annie Lennox, Lewis Hamilton, Razorlight, Jada Smith, and Will Smith who hosted the event.
The event was organized to support Mandela's HIV/AIDS charity "46664", named after his prison number, and comes 20 years after the London hosted another concert for the statesman when he was still behind bars for his stand against apartheid.
Mandela, South Africa's first black president, officially retired from politics nine years ago, but he is still a moral authority admired the world over.
